sct tuner error

Default sct tuner error

have a new sct tuner, got the tunes from hemifever and went to install tunes on truck and get error code 1013 read OS part number failed, anyone have this issue i have tried ever thing i cant get it to work

Got another truck you can plug it in to, and see if it will talk to THAT pcm? (don't program it though, that will lock it to that truck.)

it will talk to it i just cant save my factory tune or upload a aftermarket tune

Contact the vendor. (where ya got the sct from.)

It's a communication error of some sort, I see threads on various places saying its a windows error, (trying to load tunes to the tuner) or bad cable, and a selection of other causes, that you really can't do much for.

well turns out from January to March they made some bad tuners and mine was one of them so had to send it off to have it fixed hope to get it soon
