Default AC Blowing hot air.

So I did a search and found no topics on this.
For any michiganders you remember the bitter winter we had. Well I had my heater core replaced mid winter. now with the weather warmkng up i am trying my ac. Only problem is that my ac blows hot air. I tried recharging my ac but it is not needed. My compressor is running but the vents only blow hot air. Can some one help me figure out what could be the problem.

What are the pressures? Who recharged it? Did it work last summer? Could be a blend door issue as well if they had the dash off to replace the heater core.

And they did have to remove the dash to replace the heater core.
Was the ac/heater box completely removed? You can get the heater core with the bendable lines so it can be installed with out removing it. If you get the oem style you need to completely remove the box(ac charge will be lost and it will need to be recharged). Feel the metal refrigerant lines going in to the cab, If they are not that cold it may have a week charge. If it is ice cold your problem is the blend door.

That only applies to 2000 and up trucks. Older guys use a cable.

Yea there is a cable the runs from the **** to the the blend door. Might want to take a look and see if it's hooked up and working. The blend door is about the middle of the dash to the right of the stereo on top of the ac/heater box(if i recall).
