Default 99 Dodge Ram

I am putting a 5.2 into my 99 Dodge Ram that came equipped with a 3.9, I need to know if the harness off the 3.9 will work on the 5.2? What about the PCM?

No, it won't. Need PCM and harness for a v-8 truck.

thanks for the comment. I figured the PCM would have to be changed but I understood that the harness was the same except for the wires for number 7 and 8 cylinders. I thought that maybe they would be in the bundle and just not used with the 6.

That would be worth checking for..... but, I wouldn't hold my breath. (Sure would make life easier though, wouldn't it?)

Default 1999 dodge ram 1500 transfer case problem

My 4 wheel drive low works great and my 4 wheel high does not work at all. Stumped me and it feels like it is engaging in the shifter but then it just does work. Wondering if anyone had any ideas
Thanks
