Transmission will not go into reverse or park from neutral
Hi everyone,
Long time stalker first time poster.
My issue driving today, stopped at the gas station and the truck would not go into reverse or park. Could only to neutral from drive. Any suggestions.
2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 318 Auto. 2wd

More information, disconnected the shift linkage and that move freely, can only moves the lever on the trans from 1st to 2nd to drive and to neutral and back. Can not move it any farther. Took the pan off and no material inside the pan.
