Default installed new radio and wont work

I just bought this truck 96 dodge ram 1500 and it had no radio in it so I bought one wired it and it will not work. When I turn the truck on all the lights light up on the radio but nothing else. I tried a new harness and having the company send me a new radio but the exact same thing happened. I don't know what to do? I did notice that my interior dome light does not work and that the little switches inside the door jambs that turn on the interior light when the doors open are missing/broke would this have anything to do with it?

I have checked the fuses

To start with you need to verify the speakers are working, pull the door panels and wire them straight from the headunit just to make sure

Check the IOD fuse in the fuse block on the side of the dash. It has a plastic cover over it. It's probably blown.
