I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 Magnum 5.9L Ext.Cab 4x4
Auto Trans 46 RE ..I think?
I'm looking to Replace this part on my truck.. What does it go by to auto stores I ask one and they didn't pull anything up also what all do I need to make sure I get everything to correctly replace this part..
Please help thanks

A filter, pan gasket and fluid should be about everything you need. You will need to drop the valve body so take that into consideration when doing it.

Just did mine the other day because my check engine light came on, replaced the parts which wasn't terrible, just not very fun. Took about 2 hours or so (did the TCC solenoid, speed sensor, governor pressure solenoid and governor switch.) He's about right. Just make sure you have plenty of fluid. Every part you take apart, more fluid is going to pour out. you'll be sitting there thinking wtf? lol but mine took about 6.5-7 quarts after draining it completely
