turn signals stopped working but 4 ways worked
im not diagnostic genius. long story short i noticed the green light wasnt flashing when i turned on my turn signal. at a red light i could see in the reflection from the car in front of me that surely enough the turn signals werent working. then i tried the 4 ways, dash light indicators flashed and again a red light i could see that they were working.
i got home and started pulling fuses. all of which were still good. so i pulled both of the big flasher fuses and inspected them. no signs of burns or corrosion. i put them back in and scratched my head....tried the turn signals once more and waaaahlaaaa. they worked.
what the heck? should i just go head and assume the flasher fuse is short lived and replace it? maybe somehow....it got loose...somehow i dont see how though.
thoughts? not so much a short story...

i have l.e.d tail lights, lmc truck sells a flasher specifically for aftermarket lights to correct the speed in which they flash. just havent gotten around to buying it yet. the oem one flashes very slow with l.e.d lights.
ive got led headlights but i havent had a problem with my stock flasher. mine went out a while back but i just got a new oem one... id say just get some heavy duty flashers and call it a day. If the problem continues...start digging deeper
