1999 Dodge Ram 2500 A/C question
I have a 99 ram 1500 5.9 I just bought(my second one ) and ran the a/c for the first time the other day and didn't notice til later that day that my passenger floorboard was SOAKED! had the windshield tested for leaks and they said the winshield was ok, the evap drain tube is busted outside the firewall but it's only a little stub straight out and I've blown air into it and ran a wire up in it to try to free any clogged debris to no avail, doesnt feel like anything is in there but this has to get fixed truck is smelling musty right now drying out! Any thoughts or ideas? If I have to pull the airbox out I will, really don't want to tho! The guy I bought it from used the truck to chase coyotes and ran It thru the fields!
Go to the parts store, and get a 90 degree elbow the correct size, to fit either over, or inside the drain. That will not only have the water draining OUTSIDE the cab, but will also alleviate the problem of having it blown right back into the box while driving down the road.

Yup. Its certainly worth a shot, and the vacuum elbows are generally just a couple bucks. So, it's a cheap effort.
I'll give it a shot and see if that takes care of it! Thanks for the help
