Hey I am in need of some serious help I'm not sure if this has been posted before but I have a 96 ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.2. I kept hearing the sound like a vacume leak sure enough I found a line under the truck but it runs front the top of the transfer case and have no idea to where it going but it has a medal 90 on the end with a loop that looks like it was supposed to be bolted down some where?.

Does any one know where it is supposed to go I need help and would greatly appreciate it.

 

If the line is green, yeah, its just a vent, and should be secured up somewhere. The White line (I think its white) is the vacuum source for your front axle. Does your front axle engage properly?
