I'd pay for shipping both ways plus a rental fee of course. If you no longer need it, I'd buy it from you if the price was right.

thx
Talk to your friendly neighborhood parts stores. I bet at least one of them will happily rent you the tool.

will try -- wish the local parts stores really cared and or were vested -- It has been he** trying to get a simple refund for a BWD coil that failed in 2days

the cost of this tool set is usually sub 100
labor on the repair from my shop is $120ish PLUS I have to get rides to and from
I just missed the perfect set on ebay

Diagnosed and repaired. The bearing was fine. Thx HeyYou, the a/c clutch set from Sanden (http://store.sanden.com/index.php/4683-9930.html) was a high quality part set at <1/3 of the cost of what the $tealer wanted for one and that was the fix! Two of the "straps" broke right where they meet the large rivets. <pics attached> I suppose I will accept that failure after 280,000 miles.

Awesome. Makes it a much simpler fix too.

Enjoy your cold air.
