I have been fighting with this transmission ever since I put it in. Adjusted t.v. cable up and down but very inconsistent shift pattern. Also I have the patc kit for the OD and lock up which only works if I have the t.v.cable so tight I only have half throttle and the shift to 3 won't happen until near 60mph. I know something is wrong and My guess is something with the governor but I was hoping I could get confirmation before pulling it out and scrapping the tranny.

 

Who rebuilt it? Any warranty on it?

 

Wasn't rebuilt by a reputable shop, thats for sure. I had a salvage yard guy send it to his tranny guy. I waited to long to install it and the warranty is past. A lot of money wasted but instead of crying about it I need to move on to the next step and get it figured out.

 

What's the trans in, and what is the PATC O/D kit?
