Default 97 Ram Seat belt & Door alarms killing me

I've had my Ram for several years now great truck etc. I recently had some work done and the seat belt alarm now goes off (which it wasn't before) if it is not engaged.
These sounds are SUPER ANNOYING...any way to disengage the alarm for seat belt and driver side door??

Put on your seat belt, and close the door.

Mine has the funny little light that comes on at startup, buzzes at me for a few seconds, regardless of if I have it on or not, and then shuts up. I don't think the behavior is any different if the belt is on, or off. (I almost always wear mine anyway..... it's an expensive ticket here......)

I do not know how the Ram is configured, but from my Jeep experience, there is a small module that has the "buzzer" plugged in under the dash.
You can unplug it, but then other things stop working.
My solution was to pry the cover off the module, and look for the buzzer.
Pry the top off that and remove the thin steel disk (the buzzer diaphragm)... put the covers back on and reinstall it.
Because the coil is still there, it thinks it is working, but there is no sound.
