have a 97 ram 1500 that just put a new motor in. Before motor swap, no issues with shifting, after new motor, trans won't shift into 2nd until motor reaches 3000 rpm and letting off the gas pedal. Same with 3rd gear. When vehicle is doing over 45 mph with o/d on, shifts fine. Any ideas what my issue could be?

 

Check TV cable adjustment.

 

Yeah there should be able that connects from your throttle body to your trans. It basically controls the quality of your shift based on throttle position
