Finally doing the radiator swap, have an all aluminum radiator, that is going in. Couple of questions:

1) Which side quick disconnect do I need for the lower trans line?

2) The rubber mounts (both lower and upper) will I be able to reuse those? (The aluminum doesn't come with replacements.)

3) Does the wiper fluid reservoir really need to be removed? Seems like you could still move the fan shroud back enough with it still attached.

 

I don't remember what size the disconnect was just find the one that fits the best. Yes you can reuse the rubber mounts. The issue with the reservoir is you need to remove it to get to the screws that hold on the shroud(at least the lower one if i recall).

 

3/8ths. I do believe. Same size as the fuel line, conveniently enough.

There is a DIY on removing the transmission check valve. You're going to have the lines off already. IIRC they sometimes stuck. You would have to do some reading about it. It's been a long time since I read why some guys removed it. Just something for you to consider.

The radiator job was a piece of cake. Took less than an hour.
