Default Leak Detection Pump

Anybody know where I can find this on a 2001 and/or where I can buy a new one. I am getting a code from my computer telling me there is something wrong with this part and I can not even find it listed in my Haynes manual.

Autozone's response to my question about the pump when I called and asked, "A what pump?". Nice guy but not really much help.

P1494. From what I have read the leak detection pump is an item only found on certain trucks.

Ok, I looked for it in the shop manual, and what I found is that there is an input and an output to/from the PCM from a switch. so it sounds like you have one.

I found a 4 pin plug on the wiring diagram, and it appears that there is a solenoid attached to it. it's on the right front fender, you'll be looking for a black 4 pin plug, with 4 hoses attached to the solenoid, 2 big (i'd say about 3/4") and 2 little ones.

also, before you spend much time on it, change your gas cap... or have it tested at a smog shop.

I wonder if this is an item for vehicles in states with higher emission standards?
