Default Missfire?

I was coming home today and was going up hill, the truck down shifted and i started loosing speed and the check engine light started blinking. After slowing down a bit the truck began to run normal and the light stopped blinking. After driving a bit longer it happend again but the light stayed on. After getting it home i pulled codes for misfire in cylinders 3 and 6. Any ideas whats going on?

Pull the plugs and check them. Check the wires. Flashing CEL is bad news. Means a serious misfire and continuing to drive could result in severe engine damage.

Check the cap-rotor also. If you dont allready have one get the cap with the brass inserts not the aluminum ones(they corrode and cause problems).
