No the driver side was replaced about 8 months ago. I had that one off last weekend and was turning it and feeling it but it seems absolutely fine.

Changed the passenger very recently but haven't looked at it up close since.

This is really frustrating

 

Wonder if you could get it to make noise with no weight on it..... put it up on jackstands, 4x4, and run it a bit. See what happens.
