Default 231d tranfer case auto to Manuel

I have a 1998 ram 1500 with a 5 speed and blown tranfer case. A 5 speed transfer case is very hard to find and after calling at least 20 junk yards I was wondering if a auto transfer case can be converted to use on a Manuel transmission. The transfer case I have just has a busted case the guys are all still good. What could I do to make a auto work. Also everywhere I read say autos have 23 spline and Manuela have 21 but mine Manuel transfer case has 23 input and 32 out put is there something I'm missing?

As far as I know all the 1500s had a 23 spline output from the trans. Manual or no. 2500s can vary according to engine, trans, year and what mother Mopar had laying around that particular production day.

Also look into a 241DLD from a 2500 v8 auto. Heavier duty and 23spline.

And you want one from a 98 and up 2nd gen, shift pattern is different on the older ones.
