I am picking up a ram 1500 in a few days that I just bought today but it has a fuel leak it is the small rubber line that comes off the fuel pump don't know what size it is but need to find a cheap way to fix it just to get it home oreillys told me to put a brass coupler in with hose clamps but I need to know what size that line is or if you know a Easier way to fix it thanks and the line is like a cut not split but the cut is about 6-8 inches from the fuel pump

If it's a rubber line, get the side and buy a small piece and a couple of small hose clamps.

If that's what's needed, yes. Replace the line with something temporary. Make sure you use hose rated for fuel.

I just bought today but it has a fuel leak it is the small rubber line that comes off the fuel pump
Is it the hard line or rubber hose? There is a hard tubing used from the fitting on the fuel pump assembly to the actual rubber hose that runs up to the engine. I believe it's about a foot or so of hard tubing. The hard tubing is available from dorman. It's actually a form of heat shrink tubing and you need to put it in hot water before you install it.

i just replaced the fuel line today, used 5/16 nylon tubing with a 3/8 to 5/16 quick connect at the fuel pump. Ran tubing up rail and got a fuel line repair tube from napa 5/16 with the quick connect ferrule on both ends. used a quick connect 5/16 at end of nylon tube. quick connect end to repair fuel line . fuel line then runs to 5/16 connector at fuel line running up to engine. was quick and easy took bolts out of front of bed loosened rear 4 bolts jacked up bed was easy.
