Two at 90 isn't good...... re-run the test with a good gauge. See what ya get.

I plan on running the wet test to maybe eliminate new rings as well. The problem is the truck doesn't feel sluggish or loppy like it's got dead cylinders

Run the dry test again with the better gauge, see what your numbers look like.

For the most part, your engine looks pretty good, except for the two at 90. (and them being next to each other isn't exactly encouraging either.... but, indicates a potential head gasket problem, as opposed to rings.)

Somewhat in relation. Could the bad O2 sensor cause it to smoke? Or maybe that's what's causing my slight idle rpm drop when I slow down problem? I'm sure it's bad as I haven't changed it yet in hopes to let the oil burn out before I threw a new O2 in it. Both problems from after plenum. Everything was bolted and torqued to specs.

Not really. If anything, you would run rich, and that would be black smoke. But, it would have to be REALLY bad for that to be apparent.....

I suspect you have more than one problem.

I'm thinking my idle problem is dirty plugs from the smoke... The smoke seems to be going away though. So maybe when I clean the plugs the idle should be better

reset the PCM when you do the plugs. Let it relearn how everything is SUPPOSED to work.

Good news. Smoke seems to be clearing up. I pulled the O2 sensor out and sprayed it off in hopes that may help a little. Swung by Napa and had the codes pulled as I had no cel and was curious. No cel with plenum either. 5 codes. P1389, p0300, p0171, p0306, p0308. So idk what those codes are but I do know my cel doesn't work. And I've bled the system and I have a 180 star but the temp gauge is reading 200 and goes up to 210 under hard acceleration sometimes. No heater core btw. It blew so I caped the lines off. Still yet to redo compression check or clean plugs

300 is random cylinder misfire. 306 and 308 are misfires on 6 and 8. Oddly enough, right next to each other, and also the two that tested low on the original test.....

Should I be sad or excited about that... Could that be an injector issue? How does it register a misfire? Curiosity. As I've pulled cylinder 1 wire and let it run and it didn't show up.
P0171 is O2 bank 1 low so I'm guessing that's my bad O2 sensor...
