P0320 and subtle weird starting
Hi All,
Recently just noticed that the truck intermittently will start a little weird (though it has never not started). Cranks and fires as quickly as normal, then RPM's fall too far down basically undershooting the idle RPM fairly significantly, then it goes back to normal. Truck runs completely normally at all other times.
I don't have a check engine light on but the scan tool shows P0320 as on, not pending (which I found a bit weird). That exact code isn't listed in the service manual but I did the flashing test and it looks like it's indicating 11 and 12, where 11 is relating to crankshaft or camshaft position and 12 is a weird one relating to battery disconnection.
Should I throw a crank sensor at it, and if so, OEM only? Nothing is functionally wrong right now the thing starts runs and drives but I don't want a nasty surprise either.

Isn't it weird though that the check engine light isn't on? Again the code is not pending its just on.
