hey i just bought my 1995 dodge ram, it has this issue where when it cold starts it will turn over but wont fire and after a few tries i hear a rapid clicking from the fuse/relay box under hood then the clicking slows down and the check engine light blinks and then the clicking stops and it will start... i tried replacing relays and fuses from a scrap ram that has a v6 but it didnt change anything, but the fuse box was identical to my v8 ram

any tips?

Make sure the battery is fully charged.

no codes, new battery it cranks over but no fire after a few tries or if i leave the key on run it starts clicking really fast and then it slows and then i can start it...

 

See if you can find out what's missing when it won't start, spark, or fuel.

 

I'm having same problem with same truck... What did you determine
