Why does carburated engine such as Magnum 318 v8 has a computer? I mean with injectors it can adjust the fuel flow trough electronic injectors based on air/fuel mixture however with carb there's no such adjustment. IMO this makes car unreliable i got carburator to remove all the computer and bs however ended up with one anyway doh.

 

It doesn't have a carb. It has a throttle body. (depending on year.) there were also computer controlled carbs..... What year vehicle are you dealing with?

 

So you saying its throttle body not carb with 4 holes right on engine? I got 1994 does it have injectors then?

 

94 should be multi-port injection.

Unless someone did a swap with an earlier 92-93ish engine you should definitely have a throttle body and 8 injectors. Mopar did make a 4bbl throttle body so it's POSSIBLE a previous owner threw one on but I doubt it.
