Ok I believe with 100% certainty that the problem is fixed. I took the extra long way home from work put on round trip 86 miles today and the check engine light has yet to come back on. Based on past performance if the problem was still there the check engine light would have came on this morning and this afternoon. I believe it was just a case of bad spark plug wires. I replaced the original oem spark plug wires with two sets of BWD 7mm wires before switching to the Moroso 8mm wires.

Ok! Wtf! Since fixing the issue, I've put 350 on the truck. Today, coming home from work CEL Comes on. Same codes P0300/0301/0308. How is this possible after 350 miles?

Those 2 plugs looked fine. Guess I'll mess with coil wire again.

Also...just had new tires put on. The tire guy noticed in and out movement/play on tires/axle. What do I need to check in the rear housing?

in/out movement?? how much? your axle shaft stops at the cross pin inside the diff..held in by a c clip..only thing I can think of is your c clips have worn the groove out of the axle shaft, but, if its less than 1/4" of movement I wouldn't worry to much..

Do they make larger C clips? I'll have to measure how much the go in and out...
