Stock OBDI PCM Will work for minor changes, but, given the extent you are going to have to modify to get to the power level you want, it won't even be close. Need to be able to retune for your modifications, which, on OBDI can get expensive in a hurry..... OBDII makes it easier. Since you have a manual trans, wouldn't really be all that difficult to upgrade.
