Rock Solid Ram Steering Fix Questions.
When you say "everything", did you mean track bar? You didn't list it specifically and it is the first culprit usually.
How are the control arm bushings? Stories have floated around diesel forums of those being culpable for a wandering axle.
My truck didn't wander until a bad alignment was done by a crappy shop. Once anything is changed on the Y setup it is very hard to correct.

When I say everything, there is always that one part that I forget to mention. The track bar is also new.
I remember reading a thread here a while ago, were someone had replaced the control arm bushings, and it made a big improvement in the handling of there truck.
I do plan on having the control arm bushings replaced in the next few months, and I hope that fixes the wandering problem, if it doesn`t, I`m out of ideas.
Yes, I do have a steering box brace on my truck. When I installed it, I was hoping it would fix the problem, but it made little to no difference at all.
Then your slop needs to be elsewhere. Grab a friend to help, have your friend move the steering wheel a little bit back and forth, (engine off) see what moves that shouldn't, or, what doesn't move, that should.
I still remember that my truck drove like a sports car for at least 85,000 miles and I couldn't understand how people complained about steering issues. Until that bad shop screwed it up. Been chasing it ever since. But since I remember how good it can be, I won't stop. A huge issue for me was toe setting. After new tires, another shop did the fancy "alignment" and after three attempts, I gave up and did it myself. They had it 1/2" in. Big NONO! Straight axles should have little to no toe in. Also, tire pressure is very important. As is caster angle. Keep researching and adjusting. If Mexico got mine right for six years and 85k, I would think I can get it close....eventually...
I found a post on another forum a while back with recommended specs for alignment..... I think it suggested a bit more caster than what the factory called for....... Don't recall where I found it though.....

I have been doing some reading trying to find some information on the proper alignment specs for my truck, and I came across the information above.
What is your opinion of the alignment specs in the article, good or bad ?.
