Default Will my pcm run this engine now??

So after extensive rebuilding/re-engineering my 5.9 gas engine, it's almost ready to drop back in the truck. But I'm worried that the engine is so heavily modified, the pcm may not even be able to run it.

Internally balanced crankshaft,
KB pistons,
stock 8.9:1 compression ratio increased to 11:1,
stock ~0.150" quench decreased to 0.030",
Racer Brown camshaft,
Rollmaster timing set,
Hughes ported/polished heads,
Pacesetter shorty headers,
Hughes Air Gap manifold,
MSD 6a ignition,
TCP dual electric fan
180 degree thermostat

Will my pcm run this thing? If not, what do I need to do?

Forgive me, I'm mechanically inclined but electronics retarded. What parts/services do I need to purchase in order to achieve a custom tune to make this run well enough to be a civilized daily driver?

Can this be done with a piggy back tuner alone?
A trip to a shop that specializes in computer tuning?
A piggy back tuner AND a trip to a shop that specializes in computer tuning?
A PCM replacement like a megasquirt?

Plug in tuner, that loads a new tune. (and stores the old one.) Flyin' Ryan, or Hemifever can hook you up. (google search for their sites.)

Thanks HeyYou! Googled Flyin' Ryan and found that he works for Air Ram Performance, so I called them and spoke to Nick, who confirmed what you said. Specifically, what I need is a SCT DCX 3200 X3 handheld tuner, an Innovate LM-2 wideband data logger with OBD-II compatibility, a SCT analog input cable, and a custom tune from Flyin' Ryan. All together it'll run me $1006.00 as a package deal and shipping's free. Gonna have to wait 'till after Christmas to buy it, though.

I would be most interested in how your experience with them goes. Please keep us in the loop.

I've been very impressed with Ryan and AirRamPerformance. I simply bought handheld and canned tuning and Ryan got ahold of me through facebook (he's in a couple groups I'm in too and we'd talked before) as a quicker way to get ahold of me. Great customer service.

I did happen to order it at a bit of an inopertune time as Nick had JUST left for vacation at the time. My order did get mixed up and didn't ship for 2 weeks. Sent an email, heard back from Nick a day later when he got home, had the tuner 3 days later. Very courteous and he felt bad it got mixed up lol. Understandable though, they're still a growing company.

I recently got added by Ryan to a page showcasing his work and I must say OH MY GOD! Dude is the best. If you want I can post some photos from it and show you what I mean.
