Sounds like a plan. Get this motor running good enough, but put most of your funds in a new motor. I've got 192000+ miles on my motor, runs good, but compression isn't what it used to be. I'd like to be building up a new motor to swap in.

 

I got a lot of rust I have to combat too, it's like the bottom of the doors are gone, the rocker area is gone too, as well as some holes in the bed wheel wells. Yay me lol
