Default Transmission delay on take off

I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with the 5.9 and the 46re transmission. I just replaced the overdrive/lock in solenoid, fluid, filter, band adjustment, and cleaned the governor pressure solenoid that I replaced a few months ago. The transmission was hanging up in all gears especially 2nd prior to this. To get it to shift into 3rd I would have to floor it to drop into 1st and it would finally shift from 1st to 2nd at 5500 rpm then finally 3rd. But I could park the truck for a half hour and then go drive again and all shifting would be perfectly fine. Now that I've done the replacements, when I'm at a dead stop and go to take off, the transmission seems to be in neutral for 1-2 seconds then jams into gear and goes. Also while driving it seems to randomly rev up for no reason. When I replaced the overdrive/lock in solenoid, I had to drop the valve body so I had to take off the throttle cable on the transmission. I've read that it could be the torque converter or something to do with the throttle cable on the transmission but nothing conclusive to the problems I'm having. At least now it shifts without having to get above 3000 rpms or more.

Did you put the cable back on?

What did you torque the bands to?

How did the fluid look?

Didn't have any 'extra' parts left over did ya?

How many miles on the truck?

Also: Test the TPS..

I put everything back together with no leftover parts. I've been told to tighten the bands with slight slack. It's an original transmission with 198000 miles and no rebuild and it had no problems until about this time last year and replaced the governor pressure solenoid and the sensor and adjusted the bands and had no problems until now. The fluid seemed good maybe slightly dark.

Supposed to torque the jam bolts to 72 inch pounds, and then back them off two turns. (or so...) May have 'em too tight.....

I adjusted them the same way the first time and had no problems. It also does the same thing in reverse.

Check valve sticking? May want to check some of the pressures.
