I was wiring a custom radio in and I hit the battery wire to the ground wire popped the fuse instantly and the dome and cargo lights went with the fuse but after I changed the fuse the display for the console doesn't turn on... I'm thinking maybe I caused a short and I'm screwed but if it runs a different fuse tell me where I checked every one all seem good. It was working right before I blew the fuse so I know what I did caused it.

 

Did you check the IOD fuse? It has a little cover over it.
