Seen a couple places advertising the 46re for gas and diesel but the diesel cost more. I was asking about transmissions if the diesel one would be stronger behind the gas engine wouldn't it be better?

46re (v8) won't bolt up to a cummins (47re) and vice versa. Non-interchangeable. The pans are though.

Lots of weird false info out there on the interwebs. Lmao. If I'm gonna get a new pan I will probably have it tapped. Mine I think is dented

There is a conversion kit available from WITTRANS.com. Third one down, if the link works right.

Go with Borg Warner bands, which are much thicker than the stock MOPAR bands.

Prob something else then. Governor solenoid takes readings of pressure and if you have clogging in the valvebody causing pressure misreadings it will throw a code and a new one will not help. The BorgWarner is much more reliable than jerryrigging the GM in

Link acted weird on mobile. So when I change the filter, swap to at least the borg Warner? You know, most of my fun stuff has been bw stuff, the turbo on the eclipse, the transmission for the 280zx. Ahh borg Warner parts just last

Yeah, it's a LOT cheaper than the GM conversion. (216.00 bucks for that......)
