Default Oil pump replaced

Got everything out back together after a possible suspect of a bad pick up line or pump...not the case

I'm still having pressure drop after it warms up...what gives

need to replace bearings on crankshaft and/or cam shaft. That usually the culprit. My best guess.

so what's the problem again?? everything I just saw on that vids looks good, ive replaced my pickup and pump as well, but, I put an auto meter gauge in for my oil pressure, completely different reading from the factory gauge(very inaccurate) also, im running 20psi at idle and 40 to 50 while cruising (engine warm) with no issues.. somebody correct me if im wrong, but, I think the Chilton's manual says 1pound per 100 rpms are acceptable, meaning if you have over 7 psi idling you should be good..

General rule of thumb I have gone by for decades.....

On a fully warmed engine, you want 10 PSI at idle, and then about 10 pounds per 1000 RPM. Expect it to top out at around 60 on a fairly fresh engine, lower as the mileage goes up.

What I saw in the video is perfectly fine. I would just drive it.

Don't take this rudely, but how long have you driven this truck? Because that is completely normal! The oil pressure will obviously change with RPM. It is supposed to hover around the 40 mark, lower at idle, higher at speed. Every vehicle does this. I'm really surprised you're concerned over this. The gauge has that large green area that is "good" and it's not dipping to the red which would be bad. You just replaced the oil pump? Haha, can you do mine? I'd like to replace my rear main seal and have the pump done at the same time. Oh, I have over 190,000 on stock everything and the oil has fluctuated like that forever.

I'd actually be watching that temp gauge myself. Looks too low if it was completely warmed up.

And the ticking at idle is just the purge solenoid. Again, normal.

Everything is good in your vid. Mine used to stay exactly at 40psi until I changed out the sender unit, then with new sender it moves exactly as yours does. As long as you not dropping below 20psi you're good.
