Default Need help with pcm tune.

So heres my issue. I'm still running the 318 computer even tho I swapped a 360 in. I bought a computer from a 360 5 speed on ebay, but i didn't realize the vin number is programed into the pcm, so when I tried the 360 computer, none of my guages worked and in the mileage screen said no bus, but it did start up and run. I tried talking to the dealer about them programing a computer for me but I didn't get far.. What should I do, buy a blank one and have it tuned or can there be something done to the other pcm I bought. I'm running headers, home ported throttle body and cold air intake, so I can tell this 318
computer is holding me back.

Any decent shop should be able to flash the VIN on the PCM. Call around, and see what you find.

The gauges not working isn't a good sign though, generally, it's just the air bag, and abs lights that get annoyed if the VIN doesn't match.
