Default Brakes squeak

I own a 2001 Ram 1500 QC. My front brakes only squeak when they warm up. Early in the morning, when I'm on my way to work, they don't make a sound. Any ideas?

Default RE: Brakes squeak

Not sure what you did but heres what I do when I do front brakes... Get rotors cut! dont skip this step...... New pads... Dont forget to put back any spacers on back of pads.. And there used to be anti-squeak goo that used to go on the back of the pad. I havent seen anyone offer that in along time but it used to come in the box of pads.

If you armor all your tires that can cause them to squeak. So can oil leaking from your engine if it blows on them.

It really can be a million things but get your flashlight out and see if the pads have any oils or liquids on them.

Not much more I can say

see ya
