And I'm researching now. While enjoying my beer cause it's snowing out side and I have no idea what I'm doing . But gaining knowledge is half the battle. Oh there's no hardware. And the antenna it came with is missing it's magnetism base. So to the truck stop I go In the morning
Dont install a large wip like that. They wont clear your local burger joint bank etc... Get K40 or Wilson 4000! They have proven performance and been around a long time. I babbled with cb/ham stuff back in the day.

Not a fan of magnetic base ones but I'll look at them. How do they hold up to tree limbs and offroading
As a rule, they hold up fine. Also, they come off instead of bending/breaking it or the mount. They do limit your location though. The long shops are good but I would mount it to your bumper. And don't forget a spring for your antenna.
If I'd do a 102 it would be mounted to the bumper with a Wilson teardrop with a 6 inch spring to bring total length to 108
