Default shutter around 55mph

Alright guys, I was doing the speeds between 70-75. And I felt my truck kinda jump a little. As I slowed down it started to slightly shutter, but once I got down to 55 and tried to accelerate is when it would shutter really bad and somewhat seem to stall the motor and also there woud be a taping noise. But I noticed when I dropped it down into 2nd gear it didn't do it but there was a slight taping noise. Any feedback?

That's an engine miss. Have you fixed your plenum yet? (see the sticky at the top of this forum), last time you changed plugs/wires/cap/rotor?

Welcome to DF!

Never replaced plenum but replaced wires, plugs, cap and rotor about 3 years ago.

Check the plenum and check for clogged cat. Tapping is probably the engine pinging.

Ok here's an update. Found that my wire going to my coil had to my manifold. Replaced that wire the shuttering went away but there is still at popping noise once I get to 55 but it only does it when I push down on the gas

I'll mention it again. Check your plenum.
