Default Brake issue

What would cause the front brake pads to stay pressed against the rotor only on one side? Fluid was showing low but when I pried the pads away from the rotor the fluid level came back up to safe level.

Or a collapsed soft line. Pump up the brakes, see if it sticks. If it does, crack open the bleed valve. If that frees it up, replace the soft line. If it doesn't, replace the caliper.

Sticky caliper
Make sure the sliding pins the caliper is bolt to move freely.
Also check if the caliper itself can move side to side.
