I was thinking about getting this. Does it really make that much of a difference, is it really worth it??? If i bought it i would use regular, would it make my MPG go down? Could someone who has this programmer give me some feedback?

Thanks

they have 2 settings, 1 being 87 octane and the other 93. they kick *** for sure. you'd have pinging with the 93 setting & regular plus the difference between premium and regular on 20 gal of gas is = 4 bux @ 2.50/2.70 gal...

Do you know if the 87 octane setting will also work with 89 octane gasoline?

Thank you in advance

it also advertises that you can change the shift points and firmness of the shifts... how does this work and is it similar to adding a shiftkit and if you already have a shift kit is it a bad idea to do that program?

you cannot change the shift points or firmness with the programmers on the dodge tranny's... you need a shift kit or mods to the tranny to get that done.

Yes, that should not be an issue. I run the 87 octane setting with 91 octane fuel. I noticed the best results (butt dyno) on my truck running it this way, and eliminated my pinging on really hot days.

I have one on my truck. I run the 87 program running 89 octane gas. I think it helped by the but dyno. Not sure it was worth the $300 I spent but it was okay.

I like mine. I noticed some pinging when I ran the 87 octane program. When I switched to the high octane setting and used the premium gas, seemed to run just fine. And its nice to be able to DEprogram when the gas prices spiked. Bout time to program again.
