when I start the truck I will get all my gears up untill third gear. After it shifts into third it won't down shift at all and I don't have OD. If I turn the truck off it resets and I can have first and second again untill it goes into third again

That's just weird...... PCM only control governor pressure though, that's what controls shift points.... Think I would ask 'em if they put a gauge on it, to see what's going on. It's entirely possible they just got some bad parts.

I'm getting to my whits end with the shop. If the pcm doesn't fix it ( I'm having to pay $150 for it) I'm asking for a refund on the rebuild and the pcm and am going elsewhere.

Let us know what happens. I really don't think the PCM is going to fix it though.....

I don't either. I just find it ironic that before it went into the shop I had every gear minus reverse and had no trouble with it, but after the rebuild I'm having all sorts of issues. I'm getting to my wits end with them blaming issues on my truck and no thinking it could be their work. Last time it was the 02 sensor circuit, now it's my pcm. What next? I guess I'll find out tomorrow what happens. I'm getting so tired of having to walk to work or relying on my wife to run me everywhere

Well so far so good. I picked it up today around noon, everything seemed fine and it's shifting normal for now. Haven't hide alot of time to drive it because I had to go to work right after we picked it up but I'm gonna drive it this weekend and see how it does.

Hope they got it fixed this time! If not, I think you need to run away from this shop.

Wow, I read through this thread, seems like that shop is not wanting to admit they may have done something wrong? Does it do any good to check the BBB if they have had loads of complaints? Might let you know if this is a common thing with the shop?
