Default High pitch hum/whine in 2001 dodge ram 1500 5.9L v8

Hello,
I have a high pitch hum/whine coming from front of engine that happens sometimes doesnt matter warm or cold. It comes and goes also it does it for a bit then gets quiet then does it again. Took off the belt and spun pulleys everything seems fine. I put a stick up to my ear and couldnt pin point the location but it sounds like by my alternator and tensioner pully (passenger front of engine) any help would be appreciated thanks! This is a video another guy on here posted a long time ago but its the same sound!

Did he have a thread about it? Might be interesting to see what his problem was.

Could possibly be a bearing going. You won't necessarily feel it without tension on the belt though.....

Yep, saw that after I posted. Ah well. That's part of the problem with forums. Folks come here with a problem, get some help, fix their problem, and then never tell us what it was.

If you figure yours out, PLEASE be sure to let us know.
