My brakes are really touchy, sometimes..
Ok so it's been rainy here all week and this started just a few days ago.
Whenever I drive my truck after it has been sitting for a few hours, my front brakes are REALLY touchy. The first 3 or so times I mash the pedal it will lock my front tires up with just a little bit of pedal.
So, does anyone know why?
I searched and found a few threads with the exact some complaint but I never found a solution.
Thanks!

How do your brakes look? Rotors in good shape? Calipers not sticking??
Mine tend to rust up a bit overnight, and the first stop of the day is rather abrupt..... they are fine after that though.

I don't think the calipers are sticking
When it quits raining I'm gonna try and bleed all four corners and get some fresh fluid in the lines and see if I have any change
Mine did it today after it sat for just 3 hours
My truck does this as well.
After a rain or overnight rain and driving it in the morning my brakes get very touchy, but it's the rears (drum) that do that on mine.
It clears up quick so I've never worried about it.

This.... The dust "clumps" up when it's wet outside or really humid overnight. You can clean the brakes in the rear with a couple cans of brake parts cleaner. It will eventually come back.
