Default "Preferred Replacement Parts"

How about a thread, and make it a sticky, that lists the best replacement parts for 2nd gens. I'm thinking like heads, sensors, shocks, timing chain, and such. Maybe include part numbers too. Items we know work (and the ones that don't work so well). A lot of people have good input but the ideas are scattered all of the forum.

Good idea! Spicer u joints are a definite! Also post the crap manufactures that fail! Some i'm still searching for. Had to many water pumps in mine to count. I'm thinking oem is the only way to go. So far the Bosch out lasted all the others but failed(bearings going) 5 years to the day. Wonder if the free replacement will last any longer? Maybe flowcooler or hayden?
