Front axle u joints...again
Well my drivers u joint has some play in it again. Seems they do not last me very long. Is it because I replaced the factory steering box with a Borgeson? It seems like this box turns sharper than the factory one ever did. Anyway, what is the best replacement u joint for my truck? (I'm talking about the u joint that is at the wheel, 4x4 obviously)
I think people used to recommend Spicer, or was it Precision? And a model # would be appreciated too.

One of the things I like to do with the non-greaseable joints, is to pull the caps, and add more grease to what is already in there. Sometimes, they are a bit stingy at the factory.... I am much more generous.
Someone said the non greasable spicers aren't hollow like greasable ones. Dunno know how true that is.
Either way spicer has their triple seal thing that keeps all the water and junk out. As long as those don't fail there is no reason it's not just as good as a greasable.
