Default black box under cowl
What's the black box under the cowl on the passenger side that just has a single vacuum line going to it? Wondering if I can get rid of it? I'm running a carb motor so I need nothing to do with the fuel injection. Just wasn't sure if it was something for the hvac

It's a vac (reservoir) canister.

It holds reserve vacuum for your cruise and the HVAC controls.
