Default Front axle rust through

Hi,
Attached is a picture of the front right axle where the upper control arm attaches. Note that it has rusted through. does anyone know if it is possible to buy a replacement bracket that could be welded on to the axle. If not it looks like the only fix is to replace the axle.

Thoughts and advice are appreciated.

We had another member with the same problem. Those brackets, so far as anyone can tell, aren't available, so, either need to fabricate something, or, replace the housing.

Or take it off a donor and weld it on. It pays to prep the front axle, When i got mine it had a lot of rust on it. Apparently the factory didn't go out of their way to make sure it was painted. Sand blasted all the rust off then prime and paint. 15 years later it still looks good and no rust.
