Default 96 ram doors

Does anyone know if doors from extended cab and regular cab are the same for the 96 model year? Also, what years would be interchangeable? My drivers door is rusting out pretty good so thinking I might have to replace it soon.

Doors from 94-97 are all the same. On the 98 and up trucks, single cab doors will swap, but, doors from an extended cab, with the rear doors, will not.

mine is an extended cab, so doors from 94-97 will work, thx. Opened my driver's side door up to see what was rattling inside of it today and was surprised to see that most of the bottom was rusted right through.
Thx

Pretty standard for these trucks. Doors, rockers, around the wheel openings on the fenders...... They disappear quick.

They make repair panels for the rusted parts of the doors. If you install different doors make sure the "crimp" is sealed so no water can get in. This is why they rust out to begin with. Make sure the drains are clear so water doesn't collect there.

Yea, I was just surprised to see the extent of the rust... Darn near all the way across the door. If I hadn't have pulled the door panel off to see what was rattling, I'd have never noticed, lol. It's completely rusted right through.
