I used MF Performance Straight Through, not glass pack.

 

My Thrush is not loud at all. But it is long: 28" 2.5" in/out. Really rumbled under the cab but since I put another three feet of 2.5" behind it, it is really quiet. Haven't had a single head turn when I drive by. Would get frequent looks with my FM 50. People also used to know when I was arriving at home or work by the signature sound. Now they are surprised I walk through the door. I would recommend Flowmaster for sound all day and twice on Sunday.

 

HATED my old Flowmaster 50. Sounded ok at low rpm and but droned like a **** on the highway and under acceleration I hate that chambered sound. Damn near rusted out and I'm still using the dual tailpipes. I run Carven now and THAT turns heads.

 

So, somewhere near the Iowa/Nebraska border is a camera sitting in the side of the road looking for a new owner...

Could be cause mine was the Delta Flow. They make different 50 series mufflers. Or cause I have the 5spd. Drop it in 5th, recline, and enjoy the trip.
