I got under to check and found that the factory plug was gone. The wires were spliced together via but splice. Well the black wire had come out of the splice so I remade up another splice hoping that was it. It wasn't. Waiting for it to cool back off so I can cut all the wires and see if it makes any difference. I will keep let you know what happens next.

Well that didn't make a difference. Can hear a slight nock now but I didn't get a code with the O2 sensor unhooked.

You should have....... That's kinda strange.

How far did you drive it without the O2?

I drive it around the block. I would have driven it further but was worried about damaging vehicle. Should I unhook battery for a couple minutes to reset PCM?

You won't hurt it with the O2 disabled.

Reseting PCM sure couldn't hurt.

Well the O2 is unplugged and I still have the same problem. I drove it a mile up the road and back and when I got up to about 45 it seemed like the truck was going to vibrate apart. Still have the rough idle as well.

So you have something else going on...

Usually, a heavy vibration at that speed indicates an engine miss, if disabling O/D makes it feel better, then that is definitely what it is...... If not, need to inspect everything in the front end, from the tires, to the steering wheel.

Do you feel anything thru the steering??

Drove her first thing this morning when cold and she gave a code. P0135. Still have the same issue. So should I change O2 sensor?

That may be just a leftover. Reset the PCM again, and leave it plugged in, see if the code comes back.

Hows your cap and rotor look??

I will look at them tomorrow as well. The CEL did come on after I started this morning. So your saying don't change the sensor? Sorry I'm getting confused.
