Default 95 2500 2wd Spindle Nut Torque

Trying to figure out torque for the spindle nut. The nut is 1 5/16" which is different than what everyone else says it is. I saw something about it being 185 ft lbs, but when I tightened to that, the wheel wouldn't spin at all by hand. Can anyone confirm what it's supposed to be? Thanks.

Anyone know? Autozone's website says that I should tighten to 20-25 ft lbs while turning the rotor, then to loosen all the way. Then finger tighten it, and put the nut lock on with the cotter pin. Does that sound right? I could take it off with my fingers when I disassembled.

Put everything together, and tighten the nut with your fingers, while turning the rotor. Run it in as tight as you can by hand, then give it just a bit more with wrench/socket. Spin the rotor, it should turn freely, and there shouldn't be ANY slop. if there is, tighten it a bit more. When you have it where you want it, put in whatever they use to lock it in place. I like to put about an eighth of a turn of pre-load on the bearings. Just make sure you are VERY generous with the grease on the bearings.
