Default 96 V10 no start

Bought the truck yesterday. Ran fine no issues. Stopped at Lowe's to make a copy of the key period came out and truck was dead. During someone jumping me off discover that both negative and positive terminals we're barely even on. Dump truck off went got new terminals came home installed new terminals trickle charge the battery. Connected battery and now no start. Fuel pump Primes butt clicks like dead battery but battery is charged. Any suggestions?

Recheck your connections at the battery. Cleaning the terminals won't hurt, and verify that the cables are tight in the new clamps, and aren't seriously corroded. (been there, done that.....)
